Each of the three Chemistry Bench input flasks holds at most 8 units of one Distillation. The cycle result preserves the selected recipe ratio and never splits one output across cycles.
How the planner calculates
Required Distillation equals the recipe amount multiplied by target output. Craftable output is the smallest whole-number result among the three available-amount divisions. Missing amounts never fall below zero.
Each Chemistry Bench input flask holds up to 8 units of one Distillation. Outputs per cycle are therefore limited by the first ingredient ratio that reaches 8. A 4/4/4 recipe can make two outputs in one cycle, while a 2/2/1 recipe can make four.
Worked example
The default Antiheat Tincture target is five. Its 4/4/4 ratio needs 20 Vigorous, 20 Endothermic, and 20 Boiling Distillation. With 10, 7, and 20 entered, only one complete tincture is currently craftable; the shortages are 10 Vigorous and 13 Endothermic. The full target needs three Chemistry Bench cycles.
What this planner does not calculate
- It does not convert raw items into Distillations or choose the cheapest Distillation Bench input.
- It does not include unverified, malformed, or experimental mixtures that produce an Unstable Flask.
- It does not estimate travel, power, processing time, effect duration, or whether a tincture is the best choice for a route.
Version and sources
The ten tincture ratios and the 8-unit input-flask limit were checked against the Chemistry reference for game version 1.4. The Distillation Bench page confirms the separate raw-item processing stage that this calculator intentionally excludes.
