What this site does differently
Most Abiotic Factor resources give you raw wiki tables and leave you to figure it out. That works fine when you know what to look for. It does not help when you are lost in a dark hallway with half a medkit and no idea which door leads forward. We take that same reference data and turn it into step-by-step routes, timed plans, and fallback options you can actually follow mid-run.
Every guide starts from a player problem, not a keyword. "How do I survive overnight with one battery?" is a guide. "Batteries" is a wiki page. We link to those wiki pages as sources, then add the stuff raw data cannot tell you: route order, risk warnings, common deaths, and what to do when the plan goes sideways.
Nothing goes live without a source check — claims have to trace back to the wiki or a documented community test. If a patch breaks something, the guide gets pulled until we can re-verify it. We would rather have a gap in the archive than leave wrong info up.
Field checks
Patch-sensitive pages and safety checks stay separate from evergreen routes so the database emphasizes review status and evidence instead of cosmetic freshness.

Facility route map
Use the route library like a field map: pick the sector, check the tool gate, then read recovery notes before committing gear.
Field tools
Calculators and route helpers should answer repeatable planning questions, not decorate the page.
Curated guides
Start with the pages most likely to unblock a real run. The complete searchable archive stays on the guide database page.
