Material farming locations: where to find every key resource

Complete table of all renewable resource locations in Abiotic Factor. Portal worlds, traders, enemy drops, and crafting sources for every material you'll ever need.

Most resources in Abiotic Factor are one-time pickups. Once you grab that Metal Scrap off the floor, it's gone forever. But there are renewable sources: portal worlds that reset twice per week (at midnight between Tue→Wed and Sat→Sun), enemies that respawn at night, and traders with limited stock that replenishes over time.

This guide only lists renewable farming methods. One-time floor pickups are not included.

Portal World farming table

Portal worlds reset twice per week at midnight (Tue→Wed and Sat→Sun) — everything respawns. These are your primary renewable resource sources.

Enemy drop farming

These enemies respawn and commonly drop their listed materials. Drop rates vary — some items drop every time, others are less consistent.

Trader network

Traders have limited stock that replenishes over time — bring the right trade item and you can keep buying as stock refreshes.

Portal world reset schedule is verified from the Locations page. Trader stock behavior comes from the Trading page. Enemy drops and resource locations use linked item/entity pages; when official pages do not provide exact quantities, this guide avoids hard counts.

Editorial contribution

Separates repeatable farming from one-time pickups and groups each material by renewable source type, route risk, and planning priority for practical late-game restocking.
